Uneventiful day...
FOR THE EXCEPTION OF THE FACT THAT I SAW POINT BREAK.
Was it not a few days ago when I recalled with my friend Demetri of the awesomeness that is Keanu Reeves and Patrick Swazye in the the early 90's action piece 'Point Break'. So while im getting deezed and turn on the tv what do I find to my delight? You guessed it.
The movie has everything. Everything. Action, babes, the beach, deezed dudes, surfing, Keanu, Busey, shooting, explosions, and EPIC CHASE WITH AN EPIC ENDING, and the man...Patrick Swazye.
I mean come on, who can forget that epic chase, and the ending of it...shooting in the air out of anger...MAN EPIC...fucking epic.
I think the best part is the end, man...the 50 year storm,
"Look at it! It's a once in a lifetime opportunity, man! Let me go out there and let me get one wave, just one wave before you take me in. I mean, come on man, where I am I gonna go? Cliffs on both sides! I'm not gonna paddle my way to New Zealand! Come on, compadre. Come on! "

Guy couldn't live in a cage I guess, says alot about the human condition. I guess for the Swazye the ride was about more than getting radical.
Anyways, fucking sick movie, FUCKING SICK. I recommend it.
